Seat-Sharing Formula Finalised: Shiv Sena (Shinde) Likely to Get 6 Co-opted Seats

As per the current seat-sharing formula, a total of 10 co-opted corporators will be selected in the corporation. Of these, the Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is expected to secure six seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to get two seats. The remaining two seats are expected to be shared between the Nationalist Congress Party factions, with one seat each going to the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) and the NCP (Ajit Pawar faction).
