Waman Hari Pete was started in 1909 by Mr. Pete. Now being managed by it's 4th generation it has come a long way. It has 4 shops in all the first one was established in Girgaum, Dadar, Pune & the latest one established in Thane.

The one in Thane is about 5 years old catering mostly to the Maharashtrian clientele.There are a total of 40 people in the showroom who are fully trained to cater to needs of the people.

They mostly deal in Gems, Diamond, Gold & Silver. They have established themselves as dealing in mostly with the 23 carat gold.

They take pride in announcing that they are the No 1 Hallmark jewellery in the western region of India ie. Maharashtra, Gujarat etc.

They proudly say that the Gold Ornaments after given a final touch are sent to BIS Hallmarking Centre where they are Hallmarked after undergoing satisfactory Gold Purity Test & sent back to the showroom.

This is a home family business led by Mr. Subodh Pete & Mr. Vishwanath Pete (cousin). Mr Subodh Pete who has done his B.Com & MBA from USA has also worked at Dadar with a 10 year experiene to his credit. Mr. Vishwanath Pete who entered into this business soon after completing his CA.

Waman Hari Pete whose name has been well established and been in the market for the past 90 years has been getting a huge and positive response from people coming from Dadar, Dombivili, Thane & Kalyan which made them start the shop currently in Thane to serve their clients who have been coming coming to them from generation to generation.

They pride themselves in announcing that they have taken part in the Mumbai Gold Festival which is much like the Dubai Gold festival.

It starts from 17th October which is right up to Diwali. They conduct draws and there are upto 28 draws which is done by giving coupons to people on the purchase of Gold worth Rs. 3,000 to 5,000.
