I am a resident of Brindaban Society in Thane. Many
of my batchmates of dnyansdhana stay in this huge
colony. But the buses for our college from Brindaban

very disappointed that the sheds outside the Thane
Station have not yet been put up. Somehow we managed
during the summer, but now the rainy season is coming

Thane Municipal Transport Undertaking bus station
at Thane Railway Station on rental basis. The Railway
Authorities have undertaken the work of construction

This
website does not have any information about the ST

I do the travelling via Kalyan because I do not have
bus timings with me. Only if the site had the details
about ST timings, it would have been great convenience?

I
am staying at Khopat Pokhran Road No.1, I used to
go to Manpada, near Azad Nagar No.2, Which bus I Should
Use?
There
is direct bus service between Khopat and Manpada near
Azad Nagar No.2, The passengers originating from Khopat
Pokhran Road No.1, presently availing of the buses
of route no.9 can switch over to route no.55 at civil
Hospital bus stop to go to Manpada near Azad Nagar
No.2. In an urban transport system one change over
is inevitable.
I
stay at Brahmand phase 5, we have bus no.55 DHARMACHA
PADA coming up to our complex. We all residents feel
very sad that our bus is cancelled as and when TMC
feels comfortable. Since DHARMACHA PADA is just one
step ahead of Azad Nagar, practically all the Azad
Nagar buses can end at DHARMACHA PADA. Otherwise also
we all are taking the bus from Azad Nagar. Hence I
would suggest extending all the Azad Nagar buses up
to DHARMACHA PADA. This will add not only the comforts
to the residents but also earns more revenue for TMC
without any considerable expenses. Hope my suggestion
will be evaluated.
Route No.55 operating between Thane Railway Station
and Azad Nagar is well established and well patronized.
Any change in its pattern or operation would be resented
by commuters presently availing of this service. We
have already provided a separate bus service for the
commuters originating from Brahmand. However, your
suggestion is noted and the same will be examined
at the time of planning additional buses for the area.

am staying at Kharegaon, Kalwa. Initailly the buses
for Kharegaon were starting from the Shivaji Nagar

Bus

provides connection of Kharigaon with Thane Station.
