Tell us something about yourself?
My name is Mr Prabodh Kulkarni and I am 37 years old. I am a graduate in chemistry and have completed my post graduate diploma in Computer Engineering. And I have always been very interested in the field of acting and direction.

Since when have you been in this profession?
Right from 1970 i.e. from my school days, I have been in this field. In 1973 I received my first award "Shankarrao Joshi Smriti Karandak" for best acting. I continued acting and directing since then. I secured many awards in inter-college drama competitions from 1978-84.

What are your special interest relating to your profession?
As, I have acted in so many plays and directed plays, serials, telefilms, adds. Now I feel a challenging role or a direction opportunity should come my way which would reach international fame. I wish to bring together all the artist, director & technicians of Thane to work on a commercial project which will definately be of great venture

In your career what has been your inspiration to give the best to the industry?
The support of my family, appreciation from my fans and the critisim from well-wishers has been my inspiration, to work and give the industry.

What is the percentage of work satisfaction that you get?
As far as a particular project is concerned, I am 100% satisfied because I know what I am giving the viewers is the best. But from the creativity point of view I am never satisfied.

What is your future plans?
Viewers are appreciating my professional drama and marathi serial "Akalpit" on ETV directed by me. This programme is on No1 TRP. With the help of my team, we are planning a Marathi film and Hindi comedy serial. These projects will be definately successful and appreciated by all since I am confident that my team is expert in all aspects.

Any interesting drama you would like to share with us?
"Sidha Sadha Sada" is a marathi serial in which I played the main leading role of 'Sada Dhandarphale'. The serial was shooted in Thane at Naupada and Talopali. Marathi leading starcast acted in the serial and I am proud to say that everybody appreciated my role in Thane as well as all over Maharashtra. Wherever I went as a chief guest for various fuctions, I was given police protection. Still I am remembered for my role in that serial and people call me 'Sada'

I received this fame because of my faith on my work and love and appreciation from the fans.
