How did the idea of starting Thanevarta come into your mind?
I and Dr. Vijay Bedekar were just having a discussion; Dr Bedekar suggested this idea to me. At the initial stage, we did find it a bit difficult but later on, this dream turned into a reality.

What all steps are you taking to give better quality to Thanevarta?
Initially we had started SVHS recording. But within a span of two years, we made the recording DIGITAL thereby giving the best quality.
At that time, we were the first to make the channel DIGITAL.

What steps do you take to cover the news on the spot?
Through our reporters & other sources, we are able to cover the news on the spot. Everybody feels like putting their news on Thanevarta.

What is the secret formula of the success of Thanevarta?
There is no secret formula for the success of Thanevarta. By always trying to introduce something new & an excellent team spirit, Thanevarta has been successful.

What are your future plans?
We are trying to introduce updated news every hour & to cover the on the spot Live coverages. But we also need permission to introduce such plans.

With technology & given permission, within a few months I am sure this will be possible.
