Tell us something about yourself?
I have passed M.A. in Marathi Literature. I have writen series of articles on Marathi women in daily "Sanmitra" for about one year.

Ihave acted in three areas, i.e. Young Girl, Villain (in sSoudamini) & mother. Randhoodhumi is a historical drama, which has lengthy dialogues & historical language. I was a bit afraid but due to inspiration from senior actors, I could make it with confidence. Besides this "Sangeet Mahila Mandal" was having "Powada" which was thrilling for me to sing.

I have acted in "Randhoodhumi" of Mr. Joshi, "Ak Hotti Mulgi" of Vijay Tendulkar, "Sangit Mahila Mandal" and "Vahato hi Durvachi Jodi", "Ekach Pyala", "Vahini".

Since when have you been in this profession?
I was in the dramatic field from the childhood.Due to inspiration of Mr. Mama Pendse & Mr. V.R. Paranjape - President of Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natyaparishad, Thane, I could reach to professional level in Marathi & other dramas.

What are your special interest relating to your profession?
To see various dramas & criticize after observation. Also read various dramas in Marathi & Hindi. See English, Tamil, Telugu dramas & make observations.

In your career what has been your inspiration to give the best to the industry?
Mr. Mama Pendse, Shri Shashi Joshi & Shri V.R. Paranjape etc are the various dignitaries whi have inspired me. Through their training I could present myself and sing "Powada."

What is the percentage of work satisfaction that you get?
Till now I have achieved only 50% of satisfaction from my work.

What is your future plans?
If an opportunity comes, I will act in any drama.

Any interesting drama you would like to share with us?
Some of the interesting dramas for me are:

• "Vahato hi Durvachi Jodi" (in this I could get a good character as mother)
• "Sangit Mahila Mandal" (as a young girl)
• "Randhoodhumi" (as Soudamini.)
