Tell us something about yourself?
I am a banker, employed with Abhyudaya Co-op Bank Ltd. Posted at their Abhyudaya Nagar branch, M-33. I have completed my B.Com from Ruparel college, Mumbai in 1984. I have represented my school & college in Football, Cricket, Kho-Kho at various levels.

Since when have you been associated with this club?
I am associated with this club from 1997.

What have been the achievements of your Club since its inception?
We have succesfully installed bus sheds at Brindaban and Rabodi in September 2000. The project cost us Rs 1.5 lakhs. The same are now handed over to the TMT (Thane Muncipal Transport) authorities. Until now we have been able to reach to the expectations of Thaneites and are doing our share of duties towards Thane city.

What is your motto / aim during your Tenure as the President of the Club?
During my year as President, I wish to conduct an Inter-school Elocution / Debate competition which to scheduled for 22/23 Sept. 2001. Medical services we have started an X - ray / Pathology center at Khopat at discounted rates to the needy. Environment services, Educational aids, sight first programs will be conducted.

How do you demarcate your duties as a professional & as a President of this club?
While I am at the bank, I am onto the duties as a banker, once I leave office; I am a full time Lion president to serve those in need. Medical, educational, physiological, monetory, any type of help, which is possible is given to the needy.

How far your club has reached in its objectives?
Until now we have been able to achieve our objectives. We have completed the projects in time. The bus sheds at Brindaban & Rabodi cost us nearly 1.5 Lakhs & have been handed over to TMT on Sept. 2000. Sights first are conduct upto 20 camps in a year.

Any message to Thaneites?
Each one help one. Be it your own Kamwalli bai, your newspaper boy, your milkman, your istriwalla, anybody. We can go on helping them in our own small way. Give them money for medical exps. for them to purchase schoolbooks, school fees etc. It will make this world a better place to live in.
