I have joined Rotary in 1992 and later on worked
on different Avenues and Services as Member / Director

as President in this year.
What

What
is your motto / aim during your Tenure as the President
of the Club?
Our club has seen an unprecedented growth last year.
It is therefore necessary that all the new and old members
need to assimilate with each other and thereby with
the club. Secondly, while doing the social work for
the society, it is equally important to value addition
by looking after the development aspect of our members
and their families. Hence the motto / aim is to strengthen
the Club by focusing on' Relationships and Development.'
How do you demarcates your duties as a professional
& a Rotarian?
Well, I find myself quite fortunate that I need
not to demarcate as a professional and a Rotarian, since
for both my Roles, the common factor is people ! As
a H R professional I deal with people and as a Rotarian
too, it is nothing different.
How
far your club has reached in its objectives?
As far as this year is concerned so far we have
done three projects since 1st July 2001. There some
of the projects are in the pipeline. We, all Club members
are committed to meet our objectives during the year.
Any message for Thaneites?
It's a great feel when you work for Thane and Thaneites.
In stead of giving any 'message', I would request Thaneites
to support and join the noble cause of social service
what Rotary is pursuing in Thane through 11 clubs.
