Doctor, please tell us something about yourself......
I am a graduate of Nair Hospital Dental College,Mumbai University. She has done her postgraduate in Oral Medicine, Diagnosis & Radiology from Nair Hospital Dental College,Mumbai University. I'm member of Indian Dental Association & Indian Academy of Oral Medicine & Radiology. I'm Associate Prof. at Saraswati Dental College, Lucknow. I was lecturer at CSMSS Dental College, Aurangabad. I'm married to Dr. Jayant (Gynaecologist& Obstetrician)& have one son Mast.Harsh (Studying in Hiranandani Foundation School, Thane).
I'm interested in and have achieved levels of expertise in the fields of porcelain reconstructive dentistry and digital imaging..I also educate students regarding care of teeth. Since when are you in this profession ?
" I started practising in 1988 and opened my first clinic in Brindaban Society,Thane, West. Later, I opened the second clinic at Paradise Tower,Naupada,Thane(W)."

How did the the idea of Ultramodern 2nd clinic come to you ?
We are living in the time of progress,with rapid changes and technical challenges.Each dentist & each practice is required to develop it's own strategy for sucess. Patients are increasingly acting like clients-and always want to be won over again! Criteria such as diagnosis, treatment success and treatment quality, as well as comprehensive consultation and prophylaxis are decisive factors in this. In addition, the ability to provide out of ordinary services can also impress the patients and help build practice.
"In 1999, I went to international exhibition where I saw the concept of an Hi-tech clinic where several patients could be attended to, in a short time. The patient in pain need not wait in line unnecessarily, like in a popular crowded restaurant due to modern technology daignosis & treatment is very quick. I applied to The Shamrao Vithal Co-operative bank, Thane(W) for the project, that I had in mind and it has come through - to be inaugurated on 23rd June this year. I am happy that every thing turned out just the way I had visualised it."

What is the risk factor involved for you personally ?
"Like in all chosen professions there is some kind of occupational hazard involved . In our case we are exposed to blood, radiation and so to a lot of diseases and infections, chances of cancer which we try and avoid by wearing masks, gloves and glasses ."Chances of radiation exposure we have reduced by introducing RVG system.

"My husband , Dr.Jayant is a Gynaecologist sees to the entire administration of the clinic so with his help and my entire, we have conducted various Free check up camps, which I believe are very necessary to instill dental hygiene in growing children. We have covered a lot of schools like Hiranandani Foundation School,Thane(W)."We hav also conducted Dental Checkup camp for Agarwal Samaj Of Thane.

What is your future plan?
"Next for the comfort and convenience of my patients I am planning a technical upgradation of the clinic by importing "LASER"
