When was your interest toward commercial drama first develop?
I was raised in Konkan District, after completing my SSC I came to Thane to better my self in the field of acting/drama. I have worked in several plays in Hanuman gym some of my noteworthy performances are Kawadi Chumbak, Lagna Adhi Varat etc. Because of my performance in Dev manus I was given the name 'Dada'. After wining many honorary prizes by taking part in various competitions as an actor, I received many roles from various Directors and producers to act in various dramas 'Bail gela ani zopi gela' was my first commercial stage drama.

Is Directing or playing the role of an actor more challenging to you?
As a Director I enjoyed the challenge. In 1970 I worked as a director in Marathi plays called Dekhani Bayako Dusryachi, which featured talented actors like Mr. Raja Gosavi and Mrs, Nayna Apte

From the field of drama how come you ventured into the field of Photography?
In order to generate photogenic movements in the actors, I learned majored in Photography from J.J School of Arts

In relation to your field whom do you idolize the most?
I was greatly inspired by Mr. Nan Sanzagiri's direction

What is the percentage of work satisfaction that you get?
I got 100% satisfaction from my work being in this field.

Tell us some of your noteworthy performances on television?

• As a director I have directed Vaiticha Jidd , Yug Purush, Hich khari Diwali.
  
• On Sony teleision I have directed the Serial Hum Hai la Jawab
  
• On the Opening of Gadakari I directed my very first play.
  
• Mr. Nitish Bardwaz the famous actor who acted for 'Mahabharata' as 'Krishna' was a student of my institute.
  
• Free training of acting to Teenagers
  
• Worked with famous directors like Raja Gosavi, Nayana Apte, Vishwanath Bangool, Prakash Ghankrekar etc.

Apart from television I have even worked in :

• Historical Drama - PratapGad, Sinha Gad, Bebandshai etc.
  
• Social Drama - Dev Manusa , Hi Vat dooe Jate, etc.
  
• Mythological Drama - Bhakt Pundalik, Matsya Gandhya, etc.
  
• Secret Drama - Khunasa, etc
  
• Hindi Drama - Mittika Ghar, Maha Purush, etc
