1. Tell us something about yourself?
A. I am a graduate from Bombay University and am married with two children .

2. Since when have you been associated with this club?
A.I have been involved with this club since 1998-1999.

3. What has been the achievement since its inception?
A. Some of our achievements are:
- Every year we hold medical & eye check up camps at several schools and slums and even at Traffic Police posts.
- We supply books, notebooks, uniforms and even fees of several school and college students.
- We supply rations and many other articles every month to the Home for Street Children "Aasra" at Dighe and Chendni Koliwada.
- We supply snacks and raincoats to the Adivasi Students.
- We have supplied hearing aids to many schools of Deaf & Dumb Students.
- We have given several donations in kind and cash to the schools of Mentally Retarded Children.
- We have supplied water coolers at several public places, donated refrigerators, type-writers, several sewing machines, wheel chairs, calliphers, ceiling fans, utensils, clothes, sarees, and many utility items.
- We have held several cancer detection camps for the poor, by the team of Doctors from Tata Hospital.
- We have rehabilitated Leprosy patients.
- Our club runs an Adult Education Centre where we encourage the uneducated women, not only to read & write but also to become self sufficient.
- Every year we have a cultural programme by the inmates of Mental Hospital Thane and serve them with snacks and gifts on 15th August.
- Every year we have sports, dance and peace poster competitions for the schools of Thane.
- We visit old homes and remand homes and donate according to their needs.

4. What is your motto/aim during your tenure as the president of the club?
A. To complete the assignment given to us. To see that the real needy gets the benefit of our services. We are given certain guidelines from our district and accordingly work and plan to achieve them.

5. How do you demarcates your duties as a professional and as a president of this club?
A. As I am not a professional, the question doesn't arise. But I can give enough time to my club.

6. How far your club has reached in its objectives?
A. We have done quite a lot. But there is scope of doing much more. There is always a problem of funds.

7. How far your club has reached in its objectives?
A. Let all the NGO of Thane work together and pool their funds, at least on some major community center, where the needy of Thane can benefit.
