Tell us something about yourself?
I was born in 1975 in an educated family of a technocrat father and academician mother. I have completed Polymer Engineering from MIT college Pune before joining my father’s company. Living away from my family for 4 years made me independent. Apart from studies, music, trekking and being close to nature have always been my major interests. My wife Sangeeta is an M.Pharm and we have a 2-year-old daughter Kimaya who is the focal point of the entire family. Being in a healthcare business, we have a tremendous awareness about healthy living.

Tell us about Gayatri Herbals Pvt. Ltd.
Gayatri Herbals Pvt. Ltd. was founded by my father Ulhas Karle who has had a massive experience in the field of Pharmaceuticals & herbal sciences. Innovating new formulations by harnessing natural resources has always been his passion.

This forms the core policy of Gayatri Herbals Pvt. Ltd.; which is into manufacturing of Herbal cosmetics for skincare haircare and nutraceuticals. It has also diversified into field of herbal veterinary products for livestock & pets and also into Agroproducts required for Organic farming. The company has multilocational manufacturing units in Mumbai and in the picturesque state of Himachal Pradesh.
Thus Gayatri Herbals Pvt Ltd. is involved in the wellbeing of humans, animals & plants in some way or the other.

What are the types of products available at Gayatri Herbals India?
We have GMP certified factory at Himachal Pradesh which is manufacturing ayurvedic herbal cosmetics for skin & hair care. We have products such as shampoos, creams, gels, lotions, facepacks, etc. in our range. Nutraceutical range comprises of Aloevera juice, Protein supplements & weigh management products. Veterinary products include calcium tonic, liver tonic, feed concentrates, which help in improving animal health. Agroproducts include seaweed protein based plant growth enhancers, Anti-viral compound, Humic acid etc. The basis of all these products is the avoidance of chemicals and usage of herbal extracts & natural inputs.

How satisfied businessman are you?
I believe a businessman confines his growth if he becomes complacent. One thing I have learnt from my father and other successful people is never to be satisfied in business. I will be satisfied only when every single individual will be aware about good health & wellness and act on those lines (by banning colas & junk food & chemical cosmetics)

Gayatri Herbals Pvt Ltd. stands apart due to its “No compromise on quality & ethics” policy. We don’t compromise on quality come what may. Our core philosophy is to make available good products to the masses at a reasonable price,
whilst making a decent profit for ourselves. Anyways competition always keeps us on our toes so we take it positively.

What message would you give to a newcomer in this field?
Any new comer in this field just needs proper knowledge, orientation and passion to succeed.

What is Gayatri Herbals India future plan?
Gayatri herbals Pvt. Ltd plans to come out with potent herbal products for lifestyle diseases such as type 2 diabetes, stress, hypertension etc. Apart from these professional activities, the most burning issue presently faced by the world –global warming ..is also our key concern. We have already initiated tree plantation movement, which we plan to take on a larger scale.

Any message to Thaneites?
Not many thaneites know that Thane has a rich cultural heritage which we ought to preserve. Say no to plastics, colas, etc. Try to plant more trees wherever possible so that thane gets identified as a true green city on the global map. Also, be healthy by being in sync with Mother Nature.
