Mrs. Ramadevi Ashar, the elegant lady and mother of
Mr. Nayan Ashar, cut the Red Ribbon on the evening
of 5th June, 2001 to Bless and inaugurate the "gold
gym" housed in Cecilia House, Opp. Gadkari
Rangayatan,Thane (W). Now- Dr. Moose Road has another
Landmark!
The unusual Facade had Thaneites interested in the
'Gold
Gym', even before it formally opened and they had
eagerly awaited the "Gold Gym" to be functional.
'gold gym' had seventy three Member Registrations
before it could even open.
In
fact , 'gold gym' is offering a 10% Discount

The beautiful interiors have been visualized, designed
and executed by a very young person, Mr. Zubin Zainuddin
of 'Arris'- Design Studio, who has just started out
professionally with his Partner Ms. Lalitha Tharani.
He has won the prestigious Indian Institute of Interior
Design( I I I D) Award for this year and has currently
been featured in the Property Times and New Bombay
Times.
Mr.
Zubin said, "We have consciously seen to it that
the 'gold gym'
is well ventilated and the exhaust system is good
! Otherwise at peak times when a lot of people are
working and sweating out together,there is a lot of
heavy breathing in a limited closed area. If the exhaust
systems are not proper the level of Oxygen and Fresh
Air is low, then the people exercising could feel
dizzy and faint. So all this has to be calculated
correctly for exercising comfortably".
Dr. Dhanajay More (MBBS) is the Doctor associated
with "Gold Gym". He is into Sports Medicine
and Nutrition and is himself a State level Power Lifter.
He is also a Faculty at Talwalkar Fitness Academy.
Dr.
More, keenly explained, that "All the exercise
equipment and machinery is Italian and has been imported
from 'Technogym' the offcial suppliers to the Sydney
Olympics 2000.This equipment is not installed anywhere
else in the whole of India nor the entire South East
Asia".

The instructor in the Women's section showed us around
and pointed out various machines like 'The Rotex'
which is a combination of various individual machines
like the Stepper, the Cycle and the Treadmill.The
