To the right of the entrance lies the first gallery of TKB. 'Ulhas' amiably beckons you towards an exhibit dedicated to the grand city of Thane. It unfolds before you the historical, geographical & culture facts of the charming city.The panels have a enticing blend of art & information. Like a flowing river this gallery composites pictorial journey of its historic culture to its look today. In this museum one can enjoy this colorful voyage of its cultural charm everyday.
Welcome to the world of colors emotions & the spirit of creation. The mighty lakes Tansa, Bhatsa & Vaitarna are few from the list of many lakes that are spread across the district. The galleries are named after them. These galleries are dedicated to show-casing the fine art creations of upcoming as well as renowned artists.
Like a bloom flower there are three exhibition halls the 'Tansa', 'Vaitarna' & 'Bhatsa', with central overlooking has ample space for 25 to 30 art pieces exhibit.
