Crossworld Holidays™ was started by Mr Sunil Ghanekar with his wife Mrs Sujata S. Ghanekar in the year 1988 in a small godown on rental basis admeasuring about 45 Sq. Ft. in Naikwadi at Thane.

For Crossworld Holidays, theirs is a Rags to Riches story, possible only due to hard work, patience and adapting to change.
During 1988, package tours to the Far East were very popular and so Crossworld Holidays capitalized on this by starting their own tours to Thailand, Singapore, Honkong and so on.
This went very well and soon the company started getting a foothold in the Thane Travel Market. By 1991, as the business increased, the office shifted to its current premises.

Since the acquisition of the new premises in 1991, the company has never looked back. Mrs Sujata S. Ghanekar worked for M/s Trade Wings Travel, Mumbai for 2 years. Mr. Sunil Ghanekar had worked with M/s Mackinnon Macenzie and Company.

With the support of his wife, Mr Sunil Ghanekar started his own business in the year 1988 in a small scale. Facing the constraints of Finance and Place, the opportunity was taken as a challenge. Due to sheer hardwork and long struggle, Mr and Mrs Ghanekar brought Crossworld Holidays™to its current status.

They worked hard to get the IATA approval along with the license from the Regional Passport Office and Indian Airlines. Once this was done, their company progressed very rapidly and achieved one of the top most positions in Thane and surrounding areas travel trade market.
Today the company has the ticketing turnover of Rs 20 Crores and it has taken more than 70 tours abroad.
