Career Launcher has its headquarter in Delhi. The idea of Career Launcher was that of Mr. R. Satyanarayanan, an IIM graduate from Bangalore who quit his plush job in Ranbaxy. He was joined by his batchmate Mr. Gautam Puri, who was with Britannia. This happened in 1995.

Career Launcher acquired KITS, in November 2000 and commenced its operations in Mumbai. KITS was hugely popular and market leaders in preparation for CET in Mumbai, having 6 centers across Mumbai. KITS was in the competitive exam preparation for 5 years and was also the first one to start BMS entrance exam preparation in Mumbai. Thus while Career Launcher came to Mumbai only in Nov. 2000.
Mr. Suhas Bedekar and Mr. Chandra are the one who are in charge of Career Launcher in Mumbai. Mr. Suhas Bedekar was with KITS from 1997 and has continued in Career Launcher after November 2000 and Mr. Chandra joined Career Launcher in October 1999 at Delhi and come over to look at Mumbai in December 2000. Mr. Chandra is a MBA from IIM Lucknow and before career launcher was working as an equity research analyst.


Career Launcher started with a Personality development program solely catering towards preparing students who had got Group Discussion and Personal Interview calls from the top B Schools, primarily IIMs. In a short span of six years it had enhanced its product offering and now is preparing students for the following courses:

* CAT the product brand name being Pegasus(for IIMS and other top B Schools in India) *CET the product brand name being KITS (for MBA schools of Maharashtra)

* Magic Lamp Various careers after XII th like Management (BMS, BBA, BBS), Hotel management, Fashion designing, Law

* IIT JEE the product brand name being Paragon

Career Launcher strategically acquired another company called compassbox.com which is coaching for IX, X, XI & XII over the net. A large client base of compassbox.com is in the gulf and consequently Career Launcher set up its first overseas office in Dubai in 2001.

There are also other product offered by Career Launcher like Future Map, which is a career-counselling program, but unluckily it is not available for the Mumbaites. They are also in training for top corporate people typically the presidents, CEOs and VPs. This is done through under the brand name Crestcom.


A typical batch at Career Launcher consists of only 30 students. Batches for CAT starts from November of the previous year that has its exams in the month of December. Batches keep starting every month till August for CET that has its exams in the month of February.

The earliest batch starts in the month of April and last batch in the month of November(crash course). For BMS earliest batch starts in the month of April and last batch starts in the month of February (crash course), this has its exam in the month of April.

Classes are held at Thane, Dadar, CST, Vile Parle, Santacruz and Borivali. They have centers at all these places. In addition there in a only enrollment center at Tardeo but no classes are held there.


They have helped more than 20,000 students prepare for top B- Schools. More than 2500 have got admission to top 10 B-Schools of India. Typically 4 out of 5 IIM entrants from North India are Career Launcher students.

In Maharashtra, 3 out of every 4 students succeeding in CET are KITS students. We hold the distinction of producing BMS topper in Mumbai year after year.


Something that sets us apart is the personal attention each student gets and the overall aspect of personality development and not only of coachng. They have their own training school called Inner Circle, where each and every faculty has to go through a rigorous training program and get their certificate and only then can enter the class to teach. For each student they have an Individual master file where they can record his preparation and pay personal attention.

All faculties are full time and are thus approachable and available for unlimited hours. Student interaction is thus not limited to only class room sessions. The personality development program is designed by a leading behavioural scientist and a IIM Ahemedabad professor.
