Mr. Vishnu B. Oke, a printing engineer from the City and Guilds College, London established Express Printers in 1965. An offset printing press, Express Printers undertakes all kinds of printing and binding works.

Express Printers soon became a pioneer in multicolor printing after it was started in 1965.

A fire in the press destroyed it totally in 1973. Since then the press was non-operational for about 5 to 6 years, but was again started after reconstruction by Mr. Vidyasagar Oke, son of Mr. Vishnu B. Oke. He had always thought about starting the press again and his dream was fulfilled by the strong support of his bank. He joined the business after completing his Diploma in offset printing and having acquired business skills and experience by working in a renowned press like Right Print Pack in Mumbai for 10 years. He started as a sales executive and ended up as a General Manager in Right Print Pack.

Today the press has 2 offset printing machines, a complete plate making unit, a punching machine and many other ancillary machines for all kinds of binding and finishing jobs. It has 15 staffs who are well experienced and are in this field from a long time.The manager Mr. Phulkar is highly experienced and was working as a printing technologist with Vakil & sons, Kishore accounts, etc.

Express Printers undertake all types of commercial printing tasks. However they specialize in sales, promotional and POP jobs, including brochures, catalogues, books, calendars, posters, etc. One gets an excellent professional service from the press as it caters to the needs of a vast spectrum of clients like ad agencies, pharmaceuticals, banks, publishers, etc. The costing depends entirely on the kind of job to be done and is reasonable considering the superior quality of the output.They have some of the top most corporate clients all over Mumbai of which some are Fiser, ACC, Vivita, Thane Janata Sahakari Bank, Everest Advertising integrated services, Mudra, Pitambari and the list goes on....

Mr. Vidyasagar has plans to open a one stop shop in the next three years for his customers for more personal use. He would like to introduce stationary items and gifts like invitation cards for birthday and other parties, thankyou gifts, etc. and simultaneously he would like to expand his print business.

Mr. Vidyasagar Oke is not only a through businessman but also has keen
interest in nature and nature bound social work. He is a founder member of
Hariyalee and a trustee of Jignyasa. He also has interest in treking and
mountaineering. He believes in a clean and green city and contributes in
every possible way to help to keep the city clean.
