Pantaloon
Thane is a part of the Pantaloon
chain of stores. This store was started on the
4th of September 1998 and is spread across an area of 7500
square feet. It is Thane's largest store catering to the
requirement of the whole family. The store was setup with
an aim of providing the people of Thane with world class
shopping experience and provides good value for their hard
earned money.
The store has not only attracted the attention of the people
of Thane but also the celebrities with star like Ajay Jadeja,
Arjuna Ranatunga and Suchitra Krishnamurthy dropping in
to shop at the store.The store is being managed by the Store
Manager Mr. Kamal Pareek. He has been instrumental
in making Pantaloon Thane a name to reckon with among its
competitors. Pantaloon
is at present catering to all age groups in a family.
The Men's department has been further classified into Formal
Wear and Casual Wear. In the formal wear section we have
brands like John Miller shirts, Pantaloon Brand of Trousers.
In the casual wear section they have Pantaloon Cotton Trousers,
Bare Casual Shirts and bare brand of jeans. All these brand
are exclusively available at Pantaloon Stores. The pricing
has also been done taking into consideration the various
segments of our customers.
The Ladies Department has been further sub divided into
Western Wear and Ethnic Wear. The Ladies western wear consists
of ladies formal wear, skirts and tops, capris and jeans
while the ethnic wear consists of an exclusive collection
of Salwar Kameez and Mix'N'Match. They also have a variety
of ladies lingerie.
The Kids Department has an interesting range of garments
for both Girls and Boys. They have a variety of T-shirts,
Shirts, Jeans, Cargos, Trousers for both the sections(Girls
and Boys).
In the Accessories department Pantaloons has a classic collection
of John Miller ties, Belts, Sleep suits, Caps and Hankies.
Pantaloons has a variety of jewellery in both gold and imitation
jewellery. Pantaloons is the exclusive retailer of GILI
brand of jewellery in the whole of Thane. They also have
the bentex and Sia brand of jewellery in the imitation jewellery
category.
Pantaloons has almost all the major brands present in their
store. They have a range of products in Lakme, Revlon, Maybelline,
Garnier in cosmetic and Burberry, Adidas, UDV, Talisman,
Escada, Bogart and Copper brands in perfumes and deodorants.
Pantaloons has a big collection of Milton products in their
household department.
Pantaloons
comes up with a lot of Innovative schemes on a regular basis.
They also have their exchange offers and Value buying schemes
where a customer
gets discounts if they buy 2 or more products from the store.
Pantaloon also celebrates events. Customers are personally
invited to the store
to participate in the various events that they conduct,
like Children's Day celebration,Christmas Celebration, Pantaloons
Anniversary celebrations.
There are various Contests running at the store during these
celebrations like the Fancy dress competition, singing Competition
and Dance Competitions.
Pantaloons has also launched their Customer loyalty Program
"Green Card"
where regular customers are given a card where in they are
entitled for plenty of
advantages at the Store, just recently tickets of the movie
"Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham" was distributed free
to all green card holders for whom a theatre was booked
exclusively.
Pantaloons has recently started promotion of their Movie
"Na Turn Jaano Na
Hum"(NTJNH) staring Hrithik Roshan, Esha Deol and Saif
Ali Khan. They recently had "Date with Hrithik in London
contest" and are starting with their Scratch Card promotion
contest where in a customer can win a chance to go to London
or Gift Vouchers worth Rs. 1000 or can meet the stars in
the store. There are also plenty of CD's and Cassettes to
be won.
In
future they are planning to increase the store space from
7500 Sq. ft to
10,000 Sq ft. Theey are also looking to increase their range
in our Household section.
