As
a significant business development in the new millennium,
Lawkim Pvt. Limited has ventured in the dominion of IT Enabled
Services with a strategic focus on satisfying the global
outsourcing needs. This new division is known as Lawkim
IT Enabled Services (LITES).
Our
mission is "to contribute towards customers' effectiveness

arena, who are migrating their operations, back-end activities

fulfillment cycles to India".

Established
in 1960, Lawkim Private Limited - the Market Leader in manufacturing
appliance motors, has its offices & manufacturing facilities
in India at Thane, Shindewadi (Pune), Dadra & Gurgaon.
The Godrej group owns Lawkim Pvt. Ltd., which is one of
the largest privately held industrial corporations in India.
The name "Godrej" is synonymous with trust and
reliability & it is one of the most widely recognised
brands in India.
Lawkim Pvt. Limited has an annual turnover of Rs. 1000 million.
It is a quality conscious organization
and is one of the first 4 to attain ISO 9001:2000 certification
in India. Recently, in August 2001, LITES, the new division
got the ISO 9001:2000 certifications from BVQI.

Mr.
Vijay Crishna, Managing Director, Lawkim Private Limited,
launched a new IT EnabledServices division in Feb 2001 and
entrusted its charge to Mr. Anwer Bagdadi - V.P and Head
- IT Enabled Services. With over 21 years of experience
in IT, Mr. Bagdadi has constantly propelled usage of IT
to provide business critical solutions. An experience that
he has garnered over the years during his engagement with
the Godrej group.
He pioneered the implementation of intelligent multi-location,
multi-lingual call center for the manufacturing industry
at Godrej Appliances Ltd in 1997, when call center was still
in its nascent stage in India. Over its 3 years of existence,
the center is worth knowledge of 2-MM customer interactions.
His vision for technology implementation can be clearly
seen with implementation of state of an art infrastructure
way back in 1996, a first of a kind in India at a manufacturing
organization viz. Godrej Appliances Ltd.
He is heading LITES (Lawkim IT Enabled Services) supported
by a core team of 6 people, each with a domain knowledge
in areas of Customer Service, Training and IT.

over a land of 3 acres in Thane, a prime location near Mumbai,
we have a floor space of more than 40,000-sq.ft, at our
