Well step aside Khana Khazana… Amrute Cooking Classes is here. Amrute, which was started since 1976 onwards, has really left many tummies full and begging for more. On the constant insistence of Mrs. Raut. Amrute cooking classes was started to help not only the unmarried ladies but also the married ones.The Main hand towards it is none other than Mrs. Uma Amrute who by the strong support of her husband Mr. Mahesh D. and her father-in-law Mr. Dattaray P. Amrute was able to take on this pioneering task. Even now her loving daughter-in-law who also does have an interest in cooking equally backs her. Her daughter-in-law who herself is an science graduate intends to later introduce a course where diet concise people also can have tasty dishes well this is one family with many talents.

Brought up in a warm and caring environment she says" My father loved cooking and my Mother the world famous cook really inspired me". Here at Amrute people are highly impressed by her style mother-in-laws send their daughter-in-laws since they themselves had learned from there and know that not only will Mrs. Uma Amrute teach mouth watering dishes but also offers household tips just like a mother will advice her daughter.

Mrs. Uma Amrute is the author of the leading Marathi cookery book titled "Sugrassiddhi". She also writes regular columns for weekly periodicals in Marathi like the Thane Jeevan. Her hobbies also extend to reading, gardening and especially cooking which is an evergreen in-born hobby and she always is warm and welcoming to people and always serving her delicacies.
