Is
your youngster's intelligence level actually fixed
for life by the genes he/she inherits from his or
her parents? Or can it be raised by the way a teacher
cares for him/her in the clas
sroom?
Research
shows that a child's intelligence can be heightened
in the initial irreplaceable years of his life i.e.
1 to 6 years. And given some understanding and information
about early learning a youngster's intelligence, emotional
development and joy in learning it can b substantially
increased for the rest of his life.
Taking
all this into consideration this is where 'Little
Tigers' come into pre-school and Nursery scenario
claiming to be a threat to the international chains
of play-schools running in the city.
We
opened up this international standard pre-school 'Little
Tigers' keeping in mind a child's first and foremost
need of security and warmth after he/she steps out
of the confines of his house into an unknown world
of something something's called 'A School' where he/she
will not see his/her dear mummy. We provide these
Little Tigers' with uttermost care and attention
and nurture them as an individual sapling.
We
believe in learning with fun. Our assets are Firstly,
our premises spread over an area of 2000 sq feet with
three classroom.
Secondly, we do not overburden our children with a
uniform. They are allowed to come in plain clothes.
Thirdly, no Tiffin boxes and water bottles from home.
We provide a wide variety of hygienic snacks prepared
at home to tingle their taste buds. We ensure that
we serve them on their tiny tables where they sit
properly in a chair and eat.
Fourthly, we do several playful activities like scribbling
paper-folding, thumb-printing etc besides the regular
syllabus.
We
at 'Little Tigers' believe that these kids(play-group
& Nursery) are so small that we can't expect too
much from them so we focus our attention on diverse
activities as to get the maximum out of them.
Our
first activity is conducted twice in a month, where
the kids bring in a towel
and
a swimming costume and splash themselves in water.
Secondly, we have our own jumping rack, again where
children enjoy themselves jumping.Thirdly,
we have our own 'puppet Theatre' where our well-trained
staff conducts puppet shows time and again.
Fourthly,
we have come up with several innovative ideas in order
to teach colors, fruits, vegetables, community helpers
etc to the children. They come dressed up like that
so that learning is conditioned.
We
celebrate all festivals, so that children are aware
of every religion. We have a 'Fancy Dress Competition'
as well as a 'Sports Day' in our premises. We give
away prizes and certificates to the little ones to
boost their as well as their parents morale because
we believe that parents too go a long way in making
such programs a huge success.
We
teach everything practically so that learning is reinforced.
We encourage field trips and take three field trips/picnics
in a year. We normally cover a zoo, a beach, and community
help areas as a hospital, Fire Station, Railway Station
etc.
We
even have our own library of Books. With the help
of illustrative pictures in these books several things
are taught.
We
also celebrate the birthdays of these little ones
with great pomp and show.
Overall we have given an ambience of all cartoon and
nursery prints on the walls of our school so as to
entice the little children into learning with fun.
'Actions
speak louder than words' we believe in this so we
do our best and let the parents feel an amazing change
in their Little Tigers by being a part of Little Tigers
