The first McDonald's restaurant opened on 15th
April 1955 in Des Plaines, Illinois
(USA).
As of today there are more than 29,000 restaurants
in 121 countris serving over 45 million
customers a day all over the world.
In India, we opened on 13th October 1996 (Delhi)
and 21st October 1996 (Mumbai).
In Mumbai, we have opened at Linking Road (Khar),
Lokhandwala, Vile Parle, CST, Water Kingdom, Andheri,
Thane, Vashi, Charni Road, Kalamboli and Haji Ali
(Crossroads).
Our aim is to deliver 100% Total Customer Satisfaction.

Having cleanliness drives with the BMC - like we
did on 15th August 1997 for making Mumbai garbage

Along with Nehru Science Centre, McDonald's
haave taken the initiative of being a partner of
the Inter - School Science Quiz Competition.
McDonald's Spotlight, an interschool performing
arts competition started in 1998 for schools all
over Mumbai and now Pune to provide the students
with and atmosphere for healthy competition.
