Inception
Titan was started on 17th Oct 1991. The company felt that thane was the biggest growing suburb, and it wanted its own face in the watch market. So the International style for the world of Titan came into being.

Titan is situated in Naupada, where car-parking facility is available. Its 1 km from station, a little away from the hustle and bustle of the station area, here the clients can park and shop at leisure.

Management

The showroom is managed by Mr Vikram Shah, who is a commerce graduate / DBM and the manager of the World of Titan Thane since 1991.Who thinks there is tremendous scope of improvement a lot can still be acheived thus satisfaction levels are quite low.

Staff
There are a total of 12 people, which includes 3 trained mechanics, 1 receptionist, 1 floor manager, 1 cashier and 6 sales hostesses. The staffs are in continuous training programme in retailing & product knowledge is taught to them.

This showroom is the only company showroom in Thane. There are several other shops that potray themselves as dealers in the Titan goods but they deceive the customers by selling look a likes of Inferior quality.

Vision while starting
We plan to have our presence in the big city and add to the chain of stores. We also want to give our customers an International Shopping Experience and also offer them the original spare at the right price and also after sale services.We have no tie ups with any body

Guarantee and after sale service
For all Titan watches there is a guarantee of mechanism for 2 years & the plating & battery guarantee for 1 year. Sonata guarantees the mechanism, platting & battery for 1 year. Titan has its own watch care center i.e. a station where all spare parts are available.

Titan holds annual sales normally during January or March.

Future Plans- Titan plans are
· If 1 buys one watch we will give an Extend Maintenance Guarantee card (EMG) for 5 years.
· If a person has an EMG card then coupons are offered up to Rs 40.
