Soch

Cast: Sanjay Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Arbaaz Khan
Director: Sushen Bhatnagar
Music: Jatin-Lalit

With what Soch have they released this film in the market? The movie was supposed to be a suspense thriller - but this movie has no suspense and all nonsense.

If this movie has to be released then this movie has to be redone with quite a few of changes in the script and with a hell lot of soch!

It's a thought, which kills...

We all have problems in our lives and there are ways to deal with them, however, it is a fact that "Jiski Jaise Soch Vaisa Tareeka"... this sums up this psychological thriller.

The plot of the thriller is about Raj Mathew (Sanjay Kapoor) a film star who has a problem in his life - he is married and loves his wife - but she is acutely suspicious of him. His marriage is on the rocks.

Mahulika (Aditi Gowitrikar), Raj's wife too has a problem. She loves Raj but cannot control the insecurity of losing him to another woman. Her love is self-destructive.

Preity Sardesai (Raveena Tandon), a choreographer turned director has a problem of being labeled the ‘other woman’. Though she is in love with Raj, she keeps her distance and knows that what cannot be, must not be.

Enters Om (Arbaaz Khan) and the story takes a turn. The problem with Om is that he is a mad man with a solution called "Murder". The psycho keeps following Raj everywhere he goes and happens to be have a bad paste where he used to hate his dad and now wants to kill him but cannot do on his own.

So you are here without any more suspense, Om kills Madhulika considering he is a big fan of Raj and feels that he must help his favourite hero in return Raj must kill his father (Danny).

A murder happens. One fine day, Mahulika is found dead.

On performance side, Aditi looks hot and comes as sheer surprise in this film. Her role is well defined for her and you just wish it would have lasted long. Arbaaz is showing lot of progress but he looks too sweet for a psycho role. On the other hand Sanjay Kapoor though has acted well, we look forward to him in more negative roles and in this film he should have switched places with Arbaaz.

Sushen’s direction is old fashioned and most importantly the screenplay is weak. The movie does not create the impact which a movie in this genre should have.

On the whole a weak film must be avoided at all cost.
