One of the keenly awaited projects, AAP MUJHE ACHCHE LAGNE LAGE is a crucial film for both Hrithik and Amisha. Hrithik, after YAADEIN, needs to prove his credentials in a solo-hero film, while Amisha, post-YEH ZINDAGI KA SAFAR, has moved a step down in terms of her status in Bollywood.

AAP MUJHE ACHCHE LAGNE LAGE was launched before the release of K.N.P.H., but the project took quite some time to complete since Hrithik was committed to Khalid Mohamed (FIZA), Vidhu Vinod Chopra (MISSION KASHMIR), Subhash Ghai (YAADEIN) and Karan Johar (K3G), who were also committed to before he became a teen sensation.

Starting with AAP MUJHE ACHCHE LAGNE LAGE, Hrithik's forthcoming releases will see him teaming up with young directors - Vikram Bhatt (AAP MUJHE ACHCHE LAGNE LAGE), Kunal Kohli (MUJHSE DOSTI KAROGE) and Arjun Sablok (NA TUM JAANO NA HUM).

A stirring saga of the triumph of love, sacrifice, truth and devotion, AAP MUJHE ACHCHE LAGNE LAGE tells the story of Sapna (Amisha Patel), the dreamy damsel who is caged in protective custody of her own father Dholakia, a business tycoon, and steamy-headed brother Raman, who have deployed armed escorts for her.

In effect, she is stifled inher movements until she encounters Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) during the nine days of 'dandiya raas' and in these nine days, Sapna discovers life, which changes her entirely.

How Sapna and Rohit eventually fall in love under adverse circumstances forms the nucleus of the story.
