Sagar Chauhan (Sunil Shetty), is a dedicated officer belonging to the Special Protection Group. He is posted for the security of VIP's in the Z-Category.

Sagar through his friend Gopal Pandey (Shahzaad Khan) meets the famous millionaire Pratap Rai (Danny). Eventually Pratap Rai requests Sagar to take his wife Meenal (Raveena Tandon) under his purview and to keep a tab on her. After the accidental death of her father, Meenal has been mentally unstable, and she has attempted suicide many times. Finally seeing the gravity of the situation, Sagar agrees to take charge of Meenal

Meenal finds a new meaning to life in Sagar's company. She is deeply impressed by his valour and outlook towards life and she falls in love with him. But when she expresses her feelings to Sagar, he isn't willing to reciprocate. This breaks Meenal's heart and she undergoes a traumatic fit and undergoes severe depression so much so that she plunges to her death from a building.

Sagar when he comes to know of Meenal's tragic death, holds himself responsible and is completely distraught. His friend Lobo (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) takes him to Goa for a change of environment

Once in Goa, Sagar meets a girl who exactly resembles Meenal and Sagar is completely confounded. Meanwhile Pratap Rai proves that the said girl is Meenal, his wife. But the girl totally denies this association.

Hence starts the quandary, what's the truth and whom to trust. Strangely a flurry of murders start taking place across the city. Who is this girl and who is behind this spate of violence. Is it connected somewhere?
