Shroff's character Jaggu, who is an up and coming you ng
lawyer inspired by his older brother who is a successful
trial attorney and whom Jaggu looks up to and admires
as a father figure.
This
movie comes with a twist that causes that admiration
to change. Jaggu is in love with the Chief Minister's
daughter Sunita (Anupama Verma) who takes over her dad's
chair once he is assassinated.
Later
on in the film as the plot proceeds, Sunita's brother
is accused by a girl named Paro (Manisha) of raping
her. This becomes Jaggu's first case as a lawyer and
he defends with all his might the brother of his love,
Sunita.
Jaggu
wins the case and the poor Paro is ashamed and called
a whore and leaves the town.
To
his dismay Jaggu discovers that Sunita's brother actually
did commit the crime and now he feels he must repent
for the sin of defending a criminal.
So
he finds Paro and brings her back to town and before
you know it, she shoots Sunita's brother dead.
The
film kind of drags here but in the end Jaggu is on Paro's
side and against his brother in the court of law. Paro
is proved not guilty of the crime of murder and everyone
lives happily ever after.
