 Hey,
People!
Being an armchair sportsman (I mean woman) I am always
on the lookout for a good comfortable place to surf
at, as I tend to forget timewhen Netting.
And closed, claustrophobic places are not for me. Nor
are non-functioning A/c's with bad exhausts.
Shopping at Amrapali Arcade, Vasant Vihar I saw a Banner-
Net Cafe' where the bottom line claimed it to be "A
Nice Little Place" Now that certainly needed to be checked
out. So landing on the 1st floor, F-40, the entrance
immediately caught my attention. It has a surfer balancing
on the surfboard with the roaring splashing ocean all
around.
Walking in I introduced myself to the Boss, Mr. Debraj
 Bhattacharya
and we got talking.
He has been living in Vasant Vihar for the past few
years and felt the need for a special kind of cafe.
So the idea of 'NETCAFE' born and inaugurated on the26th
of April, 2001.
Mr. Debraj B. has been a Faculty at the EDIT Institute
and personally believes that Private Cabins are for
changing clothes, and not for people seriously using
the net for Education, Information or Communication.
This was very reassuring, now we could send our young
ones overfor surfing and games to this reliable cafe
and be sure that they will not be exposed to leftover
sites left open by the previous surfer.
He wants to provide Qualit y
service and has Eight Machines of 128MB RAM, all with
15" color Monitors with individual mikes and headphones.
He has had the cafe specially designed by the Interior
Designer Mr. Sambit Roy, for no- strain viewing and
seating.
Netcafe' is open from 9.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.
The cafe provides guidance when surfing and Scanning
and Laser printing facilities are available at a nominal
charge.
And yes, in case if U r thirsty or feel the need to
perk up U can buy soft drinks or a hot Tea or Coffee,
anytime.There are various schemes and packages for members
and non-members like if non-members have been on the
net for more than 2 hours free coffee is provided.
