Mixer Guide

The Mixer Grinder is an important appliance in households the world over. Working people as well as people who are at home find it very easy and comfortable to grind all the required masala's - cooking pastes in the Mixer, cause it saves a lot of time and energy.

Gone are the days of grinding masala's manually in a stone grinder, as there are many new Mixers with different facilities making our life virtually easy and comfortable. Things like grating, chopping, whipping, mincing, blending, grinding etc which would have taken you hours to prepare can now be done in a jiffy.

Basic Safety Precautions:

Always read the operating manual carefully and follow it step by step to avoid mal-functioning.

The mixer should always be kept at a normal height from where you can see the grinding taking place.

Do not cluster things around your mixer, keep enough space around it.

Keep the mixer away from heat, gas and electric burners. .

Never place the mixer on cloth, plastic or paper as this will block the ventilation at the base and can even burn out the motor.

Voltage fluctuation may affect the grinding quality of the mixer.

Do not immerse the mixer base, plug or cord in water or else it may lead to serious electrical problems.

Never allow children to handle the mixer because it may prove harmful to them.

Do not operate the mixer unless the cover of the jar is properly fixed.

Never keep the mixer running continously or else this may cause the motor to burn out.

Do not try to remove or fix the jar when the motor is on.

Avoid using your hands for filling or cleaning the jar.

Never pull the cord while disconnecting your mixer connection, infact get a good grip on the plug and then pull it out.

Cleaning Your Mixer:

To clean your jar after use, pour warm soap water and run the mixer for a while. All the particles in hard to reach places will be thoroughly cleared.

Wash the jar under running water rather than immersing it in water.

Remove the cover / lid and wash under running water and dry well so as to free it from existing food odours.

After washing wipe with a damp cloth.

Never dry the plastic components of a mixer in direct sunlight.

Uses Of The Mixer:

You can now whip eggs or egg whites for omlettes, mayonnaise or cakes with out any trouble by using the whipping blade.

No need of going out doors to have milk-shakes or juices, just prepare them at home with the help of your mixer.

Having trouble chopping / grating manually take the help of your mixer and things will get chopped in a jiffy.

If you want to prepare cutlets and do not have mince at home, no problem just use the Mincer blade and you will have the mince ready in no time.

There is a special blade for Dry Grinding like spices, condiments, coffee beans etc.

To grind chutneys, pastes, curry masalas etc, use the Wet Grinding blade.
