Freshness of sweet limes and oranges can
be maintained for upto 15 days by wrapping them in
brown paper bags.

Clean artificial flowers by shaking them in a bag
containing half a cup of salt.

While travelling long distances, carry yogurt in a
thermos as it will remain fresh and not tuen sour.

To increase the life of the ring of the pressure cooker,
place it in the deep freezer after use. It will keep
the rubber from cracking and wearing out.

To remove ballpen ink stains from fabric, dab a few
drops pf 'Dettol' on the affected area and scrub.
Wash off with soap and water.

To get rid of mouth blisters instantly, apply a mixture
of 2-3 powdered cardamoms and a tsp of honey on them.
