THANE:The online admission process for Junior colleges was already taking a toll on SSC students with all new procedures and formalities, but the list that was declared on Friday was something that has shocked everyone.
The list which got published for the New Girls College for FYJC admissions includes names of 12 male candidates. Now, all these boys are waiting for a reply from the University for a change in their sanctioned Colleges.
The PEST's New Girls College which is located at Ram Maruti Road has junior college for arts and commerce. The list which was published on Friday was something that shocked the college staff as well as the Principal.
"We received 12 male candidates; it was shocking for us as our college is strictly restricted for only girls.
Though we have the names of male candidates in our list, we will not permit them for the FYJC. We have asked them to have a talk with university or with the Dyansadhana College which is a co-educated college. Instead, we have considered some other girls name instead of those male admissions for our valuable admission seats," said Sadhana Shinde Principal, New Girls School and Junior College, Thane.
